A scene where a sofa is flying in the wind was filmed in Turkiye during a storm and is becoming a hot topic.
On the 17th (local time) when heavy rain and storms hit Ankara안전놀이터, the capital of Turkey, furniture that appeared to be sofas was seen flying in the sky.
The video, shot by Onur Kalmaz, who lives in Ankara, shows a sofa coming out of the balcony of a 35-story apartment building in Kankaya district and being blown away by the wind and disappearing between nearby buildings.
According to Reuters, Kalmaz said he saw a sofa approaching him from afar while checking the condition of his car on his mobile phone.
“The sofa collided with a nearby building and then fell into the garden,” Kalmaz said. “No one was hurt, but it was pretty scary.”
On this day, strong winds of up to 45 km/h blew in Ankara, tearing off roofs and windows of buildings, uprooting trees, and flying debris into the air.
