KXO (Korea 3×3 Basketball Federation) will hold a 3×3 Seoul tour at Korea’s largest dome, ‘Gwangmyeong Speedome’.
KXO announced on the 18th, “This competition, co-hosted by the Motorbike Racing Business Headquarters, will be held on May 27th and 28th at the special court at Gwangmyeong Speedome.”
“To commemorate the co-hosting with the National Sports Promotion Corporation’s bicycle racing business headquarters, we decided to hold the competition in a total of four categories: U18, men’s open, women’s open, and KXO league,” he explained.
The Speedom, where the game will be held, is a landmark recognized for its beautiful architecture in Korea. Gwangmyeong Speedom, which opened in 2006, is the world’s largest dome racetrack that can accommodate up to 30,000 people, and KXO is the first in Korea to hold a 3×3 competition on a special outdoor court at Speedom.
Participating teams were U18/18 teams, Men’s Open Division/18 teams, Women’s Open Division/8 teams, and KXO League/6 teams.

A KXO official said, “Players participating in the KXO League this season can receive FIBA 3×3 points generously. This is because the level of the KXO League competition this season will be adjusted from 2 last year to 5 or higher,” he said.
Meanwhile, the KXO League is expected to have fierce competition for the right to participate in the ‘FIBA 3×3 Hongcheon Challenger 2023’ scheduled to be held in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do this October. Based on this season’s KXO League performance, it will be decided whether or not to participate in the FIBA 3×3 Hongcheon Challenger 2023.
