Noh Seung-yeol, who is recording one win on the PGA Tour, took the lead alone with an 11-under par 60 strokes with a godly putt.

Noh Seung-yeol won AT&T Byron Nelson 안전놀이터(total prize money of $9.5 million) in the first round of the tournament on the 12th (Korean time) at the PGA Tour held at TPC Craig Ranch (par 71) in McKinney, Texas, USA. He made nine birdies and finished the game with an 11-under 60. Although it fell slightly short of the PGA record’s lowest score (58), it was an amazing score.

On this day, Noh Seung-yeol’s tee shot distance, accuracy, and approach shot were not perfect. However, he continued his birdie streak with an elaborate short game and putt. The driver was 66th with an average of 283 yards, 35th with a fairway hit rate of 64.3%, and tied for 42nd with a 72.2% green hit rate. However, scrambling and bunker saves were 100%, and the total number of putts was only 21.

As Noh Seung-yeol is no longer a full-seeder, his competitions are limited, so if he seizes this opportunity, he will be able to prepare a foothold for another leap forward. The last time Noh Seung-yeol made it to the top 10 was in May 2017 with Wells Fargo (tied for 5th place) six years ago.

If Seung-Yeol Noh rises to the top in this tournament, he will add a championship cup for the first time in 9 years since his only win, the Zurich Classic in April 2014.

Kim Si-woo tied for 10th with a 6-under par, and Bae Sang-moon, Kang Seong-hoon and Kim Seong-hyun finished the game tied for 17th with a 5-under 66.

Meanwhile, Lee Gyeong-hoon, who is attempting to win three consecutive victories in this tournament, caught 1 eagle and 1 birdie, but also committed 2 bogies and finished in a tie for 88th place with 1-under 70 strokes, starting from the bottom.
